i love this film and know it by heart, i did this at school on a whim so i had no references (i have seen it so many times i don't need no d@mn reference). its my style not the movies per say.
in the clouds i have hidden tidbits from other of miyazaki's movies (this is a photo of the drawing so some of them got cut off...) there is cat bus and totoro from my Neighbor Totoro, some dust bunnies/soot sprites from my Neighbor Totoro/Spirited Away, tato the "fox squrriel" from Nausicaa (also seen in Castle in the Sky), a robot from castle in the sky, the Baron and moota from the cat returns, gigi the black cat from kiki's dilivery service, haku's dragon form from Spirited Away, and a Tanuki (raccoon) from PomPoko.
i have seen almost all of Hayo Miyazaki's/Stdio Ghibli's films, (the only one i know i have not seen in my Neighbors the Yamadas and the short films that are ONLY found at the Miyazaki Museum which i DESPERATLY want to see the Kitten Bus film!!!!) including Grave of the Fire Flies. its so damn sad, i love that film, it touches me in deep ways and its the only movie to have ever made me cry. i did not add anything from that in the clouds as i did not want to add human faces (though now that i think of it i could have put the candy tin in there, ahh whatever)
i have also seen Only Yesterday, Whisper of the Heart, Howl's Moving Castle and Porko Roso but i did not add them as i had no room and they are less my favorites than the other films
i still love the above 4 films but i am not compelled to watch them non-stop like the others. i have less love for Howl's Moving castle as the story is not an orginal of Miyazaki but rather based off of a book (i love Calcifer though). his true movies like Naussicaa, Mononoke, Sprited away, Totoro and castle in the sky are all his own story, soley his own, and it just blows me away how spectacular they are and how rich he makes his worlds and characters. i hope to one day be as lucky as Miyazaki some day and have the worlds and stories trapped in my imagination be freed for the world to see)

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactOk. I've never really written a critique before so yeah.
The good things:
-I love the clouds they are very original and well drawn.
- The position is very good and the setting.
-I love how the wolves are drawn!
- I love Princess Mononoke's facial expression.
-I like all the little white creature things(I forgot what they're called)
The bad things(sorry!):
-I think the noses on the wolves are slightly too big.
- There could of been less clouds, it looks really crowded.
Conclusion:
I think this drawing is very well set out and thoughtfully drawn. There are many good things about it but there are still things too improve. I hope you find this critique fair and helpful.
