Oh my god, I'm so sorry! This year I've also had a lot of tragedies, I got struck by a car door while riding on a bicycle on full speed, I couldn't write for about two weeks. I had around 20 cats in the beginning of the year, but it's it's only around 7. My cats caught Feline Panleukopemia, and we didn't have the money for hospitalization. My cat (who was like a best friend to me) died. He was actually on the road of recovery, but it was really hot in my room, so at night, he climbed over the window fan, and, well... he fell of the third floor. My parents woke me up when they came in to feed him, but we couldn't find him anywhere, and then my dad looked out of the window, he saw him. I swear I'm crying while I'm writing this. And he was so young! He was barely over a year old! And he would have probably survived if not for the fall. My mom's cat also died. She got pregnant right before she got sick, and she couldn't make it. She died in about three days. And all of her kittens died, so we have nobody to remind us of her. Her last kitten died yesterday. She didn't look a lot like her, but she was still fluffy and cute. Her sister, who looked just like her mother, died a few days before that. She was more docile (just like her mom), and she was dark grey, and small... I will never forget them. On top of that, there's Feline HIV going around the neighborhood, and we have to pay close attention to the cats while they're sick to make sure that they don't have HIV.
For me, it's the same as loosing a human friend, since my little Bully (the cat who fell off of my window) was like a human best friend. It happened month ago, and I still cry every night.
I am deeply sorry for your losses and the hardship you guys must still endure as this plays out, the perpetrator sounds like a whole pile of garbage and I'm thankful that he was caught and shall be held accountable for his actions & that your sister and her boyfriend are alive. -They should smash up this Walden guys hips and leg.. seems only fair that he should never drive and endanger anyone else again.
I am so sorry again, sometimes fate is just so cruel. -I take it that factor will most certainly land Walden a more sever sentence. (still can't believe that this douche bag was allowed enough freedoms to even be behind any sort of wheel.) :'C some people.
omg that is horrible, im glad they caught the man who did it, im so sorry about the dogs and am glad Hari is doing better and your sister as well. Stay strong, its going to be hard, but its doable. Grief and loss is a part of life and believe it or not, it will help you come to terms with what happend in a healthy way, its only unhealthy if you let the event take control of you. You and your loved ones are in my thoughts!
I know I don't follow you or anything, but I just would like to say a couple things. I have a dog, and if I lost him, I don't know what I would do, much less lose 4 of him... The day of the accident... was my sister's birthday. We were all off having fun and laughing and playing games with her and her fiance's family... While you almost lost yours... While I am not christian, I will pray for all of them, even the dogs-no ESPECIALLY the dogs.
I can't donate, but I'm glad that he was caught, while simultaneously upset and angry that catching him won't reverse anything, and that he'll get out eventually. I wish a could at least punch him in the face.
