Waaaa! I can’t believe I went through with it…I actually killed the good guys ;__;

I also cannot believe I drew it. I told myself I wouldn't since it would be quite morbid even when compared to the rest of my dark fanart... But then I had a hard time imagining the scene so I sketched it, I meant ONLY to sketch it...but before I knew it 2 hours had passed and I had a detailed pencil drawing.

Colored version (has a mature warning since color makes it all the more graphic)

This is for a side story to be read after the main fanfiction.

In the fanfic Zelda transforms to Sheik via a mask. And Link learns the angel half of the Tenshioni mask was sealed off by Majora in hopes that the pure demon (oni) half would consume his soul.

These two in the drawing... are the source of these masks.

From the side story:

The huge beast toppled backwards onto the ledge alongside the fallen warriors with a stone shattering thud that split the land.

Its shape began to distort, leaving behind only it's weakest form… That being red tendrils surrounding what appeared to be an odd looking mask bearing Majora's horns and colors…and manic wide eyes.

The blood soaked earth around the dying heroes began to fracture. As the edge of the land broke free just beyond their heads, the demon Majora disappeared into the dark depths of Stone Tower.

Moonlight coated the world as the two friends laid strewn side by side on the crumbling stone. The pain of their broken bodies started to melt away as every sensation faded along with the glow of life within their souls.

The dying duo pulled their gaze away from where the monster Majora had fallen, they instead focused on the stars above, treasuring this last look at one of life's purest gifts.

Their breathing slowed as a sense of warmth began to overpower every hint of pain. Life's last gift would soon be upon them…and then they would breath no more…

Sheik let his head fall to one side, so as to face his friend. The Sheikah's weary red eyes meet those of the Tenshioni.

"I'll …met you… on the other side…" Sheik said weekly with a serene smile.

Kakariko was unable to utter a sound, but his soft acceptant grin and his warm hearted gaze…told his friend everything that he needed to hear.

The flame of life that once bound their souls so firmly to this world… faded to a mere ember. As it flickered every sensation left their shattered bodies…leaving behind just one last peaceful touch of the warmth of life.

As the eyes of the fated heroes closed the stars seemed to shine ever more bright in the sky.

...I made myself choke with the "breath no more" line ;X;
Ya know, that tug at your insides empathy feeling? Yeah that line did it for me, had some one else wrote it I would likely have bawled.

And Oh gods the angst fit I had to work myself into to get through this...music helped get my mind in the right place (key word music, I cannot listen to anything with singing because my brain can no longer type) I listened to these while doing the story/drawing

ya I had to leave the room and read in silence except for my crying while thinking "why sheik D:" And those songs.. they could definately get someone in the mood for sad writing. especially the piano version of the song of healing ): at least your stronger than me because I would have out right bawled while writing it lol

The story making you cry... would you say that is a bad or good thing?

I mean it is sooooooo hard for a story (be it book, anime, movie, etc) to make me cry, so I tend to actually treasure the few that have evoked such emotion in me.
And sometimes I find myself in the mood for a sad film...

But if a story making you cry is a bad thing...then don't watch Grave of the Fireflies! Just talking about that film makes me blubber and tear up! That movie was just flat out so sad!

Now the end of the anime Code Geass also made me cry, but it was more of a sad but sweet thing...it's a similar end to the Ikana story...in this anime a character gave up their life for the good of the world...which it was really sad but in the end the world really did become a better place because of this one person's sacrifice ;__;

I do say that is a good thing because I'm usually tough but it was partially because of that one line x.x it killed me lol and Grave Of Fireflies.. I need to watch that sounds sad ): and code Geass was sad! I miss Lulu and it was a real tear jerker when Euphemia was killed by lulu D:

...my sister quit watching Code Geass after that .__. that whole thing, how it all seemed like it was going to end happy, and then BAM all hell breaks loose! Accidently using his geass like that...what he made her do, how he had to take responsibilty and end it... how right before all this it looked like a happy ending...that was messed up D:

I kept with it though...and that show's plot man! It basically runs you a mile a minute into a brick wall and changes direction again! I watched it on TV, 1 episode a week, and many times I litterally would yell something along the lines of "what the hell!" when an episode ended XD
It gets the award for the most plot twists I have ever seen in a show.

Ya I almost had a heart attack and i was afraid my heart was going to explode from all of the changes and twists XD. Have you ever heard of a movie called spirited away? That movie is a bit sad. It used to scare me when I was a bit younger because they turned into pigs though. But now i love that movie. Along with princess mononoke and ponyo and kiki's delivery service. All of those awesome films X3
