Loftwing Cosplay WIP - sewn wings

as you can see, to my horror, the colored tips on the back side are not properly sewn >_O I was a dipstick and unknowingly made the wings to where I could not sew the markings of both side individually, I was left with no choide but to sew over the edges of both halves at once from the front and hope that the marks on the back were lined up perfect...uhhhh....the back did actually line up perfect half the time with 1/4 of the time being near perfect and 1/4 of the time the sewing missed by a long shot (as you can see by the second from the left top feather) but OH WELL I just hot glued down the bits I missed... up close you can tell and it bugs the crap outta me and on a commission would be deemed unacceptable, but with 16 hours sunk into these wings and it being a personal project taking away from customer work (and with how much money went into these wings) I just have to live with it...

So here I am in my Xmas pajamas showing how the wings will mostly be held, that is folded to my side in what is a fairly restful position for my arms (and yes, the feathers do in fact overlap like this on the birds in the game, with the smaller feathers atop the big flight feathers)
I plan to have my bird fully done tomorrow. ...as in Yes....I will be working on Xmas day. Xmas is not a big shindig in my family...Thanksgiving too gets swept under the rug in my family, we celebrated that 2 days late and with grilled beef this year...I have an odd existence. lol.
