Story notes

This is meant to be read after reading the original fanfic, though I suppose that (with some confusion at first) it can stand on its own.

This is not simplified bonus material, it is a full fledged and drastically alternate version of events, a full 11 chapters, about 21,000 words total.

I tried to follow the logic and lore I set up last time, but eventually in some places I let the story tell itself rather than try to mirror all elements I included last time.

To avoid confusion I will be labeling each chapter with letters vs. numbers

Old piece of mine I found today, I found it delightfully odd and charming so I decided to post it. I think I did this one like 5 years ago according to what "layer" it was in inside my storage bin.

horse style fawn/satyer training wild horses, he has a deeper understanding of these animals and can train them quickly and kindly compared to a human. He loves his job, even though his human employers hardly consider him a higher being than the beasts he trains.

he wears the leather band on his arm as a symbol of how he shares in the same fate as the animals he takes care of, forced to change their lives so as to adapt to existance alongside humans.

for the longest time I only drew animals and I sucked at people and had no motivation to draw them...anime changed that X3 I started with fan art and then found my own style of drawing people.

This is my own drawing and yet I drew it so long ago that it seems "new" to me. Point is failed to notice some of the small details till now, that being the horse's tails are styled like the trainer and their leg wrappings reflect his gauntlets <3
